Sorry what exactly is 45%, 40%, 15%?

ok thanks. But as Critical Reasoning tells us, this statistic alone has very less meaning. For instance, if the percentage of total cohort that gets selected in R1, R2, R3 is 45%, 40%, 15%, but the percentage of total applicants to ISB in R1, R2, R3 is (say) 40%, 50%, 10%, it would actually indicate that the "hit rate" (chances of admission) to ISB is the best in R3. -- Ashish

Will high salary reduce the chances of merit scholarships?

From what I know - no. Merit scholarship is based on merit - acads, GMAT, work ex quality, extra & co-curriculars, etc. Also, one of the alums who currently interviews for ISB told me that evaluators do not get to see the candidate’s salary. The reason salary is asked is to calculate the jump % in salary pre & post-MBA. Though I have never seen a placement report from ISB reporting this statistic. So not sure if it is entirely true.

Could be - I have not gone through the older reports. I checked 24 & 25 and couldn’t find it there. But if it is being reported then yeah what that alum told me makes sense
