Application dates are finally published but looks like essay template is still old (for the Fall 2011 entry). What gives? They are cutting it real close with a R1 deadline of Oct 5 and still no official essay topics...

Updated my profile as well. I am going for it this year as well!
I'm preparing for GMAT at the moment, will take this in December...
LBS is the only school I want to get in so really there is no option for failure!

Class Size: 405
Average age: 29
Average work experience: 5.7 years

Why THE HELL isn't the live app ready yet?!?!?!? It's almost 1 month before round 1 deadline and my recommenders need time to write the recs for me.

Do these people live in imaginationland where everyone's bosses have all the availability in the world to write the recs one day before the deadline?

LBS asks some of the folks who got dinged to re-apply. What are the chances of those who didn't get this 're-apply invite' from LBS? I know that the chances are fewer :P but are there instances where people got into LBS on their 2nd try in successive years despite LBS not asking them to re-apply?

That's odd, because LBS actually just sent me an e-mail saying the app won't go live until next week.

Now that's seriously odd. Yesterday after seeing your message I logged into LBS website and saw the message you were alluding to (that there will be a new app coming up online). Today that message has dissappeared and when I log in I am taken to my old app itself. I am seriously confused by these guys. Most of the other schools either take off their app when its not time or do not have such restrictions. Anyways here is the link to the app, hope its not mine that it leads you to :)

Srjaidev,
it is recommended that you only reapply if there has been some appreciable change in your application. In case there was something that you did not mention in you previous application and you consider it will enhance your chances, it is worth trying for.

I received a mail from LBS on Sep 12 saying the application is open. So I guess what is availabe there now is the new one. Even I went some distance with the old including request for recos. Was embarassing to call my managers and tell them they have to redo stuff. Thankfully only one of them had started with the process.

Now I cancelled the old one and started with the new app.

Srjaidev,

I applied last year in R2 and was waitlisted. A few weeks ago they asked me if I wanted to submit a letter and CV to the adcom to explain what had changed. I did but didn't put too much hope in it, and I found out on Thursday I got an offer!

Does anyone know when scholarship offers are sent? It's only a 1/5 chance and I can't imagine re-applicants are high on the list, so again not too hopeful!
