This event was already over. You can wait for the next version of the MBA Spotlight which is going to happen in October.

Can anyone confirm if we need to send the official test scores to Ross or would self-reporting the scores suffice?

It says this on the application portal: You can submit the GMAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT. All components of the exam must be submitted. You may self-report your score on the application or upload unofficial score reports. If accepted, official reports will be required. Some candidates may be able to adequately demonstrate their readiness for the rigor of the program without the need to submit a test score. This may include candidates whose ability to demonstrate their readiness via a test continues to be impacted by the pandemic or other circumstance. These candidates may submit a complete application without a test score. Instead, you must submit an essay that supports your case and alternative evidence of your readiness.

As is the case with a majority of other schools, self reporting the test scores should be fine for Michigan Ross.

Where do we submit the unofficial score report in the application? Also if one has taken Gmat multiple times, should we report only the highest score? What if we want to submit multiple scores?

There’s a test scores section or academic readiness section in the application. Select GMAT from the drop down there. And for Ross, it only allows submitting 1 score so it’s suggested you report the highest one.

If for any reason you want to highlight your other attempts, use the optional essay.

Ohkk...and it only allows to submit the scores right? Is there a section where we can upload the score reports?

You can upload one score with the overall and section wise score. If you’re admitted, they will ask you to share the official score report.

Those go have applied to Ross or thinking of applying to Ross, would you be interested in a private zoom setting call to network with each other?

Please comment here and let me know. Based on the interest I’ll schedule a call.

Also, just a heads up for the Ross Round 1 application deadline on Sep 19 at 11:59 PM ET

Yes would be useful.

Also wanted to know - for the prompt about expanding on one thing from the resume - is it okay to pick a professional experience and not personal? Their blog seems to suggest using something personal. To quote - "As with previous years, we are giving applicants flexibility in choosing from two sets of prompts in our short-answer essay questions, but we added a new short-answer question. The new question asks applicants to tell us more about one item on their resume. There is often a story behind a resume bullet point and we want to give you the chance to share it. What you choose is up to you — from why you started volunteering for an organization to a leadership position you held on a sports team. "

I create an additional information part if the resume that contains fun facts and 10 word stories so it expanded possibilities that way. Keep in mind they have your letter of recommendation and resume, so it’s really ideal to use all the essays to get them get to know you as a person. This is what will differentiate you best in nearly bc all cases unless there is a C professional story

That really helps them get to know you as a person, your values, etc
