Just got clarification. They made a mistake on my location. they also said that an overwhelming bulk of the interviews will happen post new years, so you can all relax (or unrelax) until January.

Are they calling people or emailing and then you call to set up an interview? Just curious as to their process. I not too worried at this point. I would be interviewing in Cambridge so there I dont have the hub interview point where I have to get an interview by a set date.

Congrats on the invites guys. It would be great if people getting invites could mention approximately how many day before the deadline they submitted their applications.

MIT is doing it by location. Date submitted really doesn't matter at this point. They do hub interviews so they are making sure they release invites to people in those locations prior to the interview time frames.

For what it is worth I submitted the morning of the deadline, as I did with every single one of my apps. I like inflicting as much stress as possible.

There is no online sign-up like other schools. The email simply told me three days next week they would be in New York and to call to sign-up. It also gave me the option to chose a different location by emailing someone.

Anyone advise on the LOR format for Sloan? Do they prefer a letter format that addresses the 6 questions posed or do they simply want a
1.) xxxx
2.) yyyy
.
.
.

list-like format to address each of the 6 questions.

surprised me because it was sent at 1:52 am

going to be in DC between Dec 17-19

Good job Dabots, definitely will keep your mind from wondering too much about GSB and Wharton. Try to get it over with before the deadlines for either of those. If you get in you are probably going to be so psyched about getting an acceptance you wont be as focused for your interview and we wont even bring up the possibility of not getting in.
