You may always write a polite email to the school thanking them for the offer and requesting for an extension (as much more time as feasible for them); needing time to arrange funds and to make such an important life decision are important reasons.

Thank you. I did that - I wrote that email + a follow up email. No response, however. With 4 days remaining, I doubt I can confirm or get the deposit arranged. It is ~15L INR, I don't have it handy.
