Hey all! I am a re-applicant for Stern and am wondering whether the adcom keeps the whole application from last year on file at Stern. I know some schools do, some do not. I want to submit all the essays, since I have progressed a lot from where I was last year and have discovered my true career goals, improved in GMAT, career, extracuricculars. What I am afraid of though, is mentioning stuff that I had not really brought up last year (I rushed the app, not making anything up) in case the adcom puts the two together and looks for discrepancies. Any thoughts? I am applying and invited to interview to other great schools, but Stern is still my #1 pick. Thanks!

I am with you. Not many interviews invitation compared to last year. Also it looks like applicants with high GMAT are getting the interview calls. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Got the email today. Got in too!!! Very excited and will see some of you in the fall. Interviewed on Friday so was surprised to hear back so soon. Now just got to find a way of getting a loan without a co-signer

Received my interview invite on December 19th having submitted my app on November 15th at 11.50 pm. Interview scheduled for next Thursday. Any tips??

To those who have been admitted: My interviewer said that Stern doesn't make phone calls for admits. Was this the case? Just an email for updated application status and you have to check online?

FYI if you're applying to Stern through the Consortium Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), hop over to the Consortium 2012 Forum and Update Your Profile to join the Consortium roll call. Just select your school as "Consortium, the", then indicate which specific institution(s) you'll be applying to, make sure your application cycle is 2011-2012 and the Consortium round (CGSM1 or CGSM2) you be applied in.
