Looking back at it, it was a little rude. I wasn't exactly having a great day and I apologize. I guess I sort of felt like Ross' legitimacy as a top school was being questioned. This process is very stressful, and I wish everyone the best of luck and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

On another note, does anyone believe that certain schools have algorithms that combine only GMAT and GPA in the inital screening process? I've always sort of felt like the interview invites that go out at the beginning for certain schools are sent without a full review of the entire application. If so, do you think Michigan does this in some way?

Please update the roll call - I've withdrawn my Ross application without scheduling an interview. I've retired my suit and snappy red tie for the season.

Wikipedia says the endowment for Ross was $550 million in 2009.

I really hope they'll start releasing decisions next week, but so far it seems unlikely. Oh well.

It's all good. This process is driving us all to be a little on edge and irritable. Kumbaya :-)

Just submitted my FAFSA form before the March 1 deadline. 'Tis cutting it a bit close. I think I may have a made a few mistakes, since I haven't filed my taxes yet.

Just wanted to confirm: We have to have the FAFSA completed and submitted by March 1 2010 (tomorrow, midnight) to receive federal student aid money to attend a school in Michigan during the 2010-2011 school year, even if we're not Michigan residents?

I think the federal deadline is much later, but the state of Michigan's deadline is March 1. I took it to mean that if I want to get money from the state of Michigan, I'd better turn in it by midnight tonight. That's just my own understanding.

Thanks! If that's definitely the case, you saved a huge headache later. Submitted mine last night as well, with a hopefully close-to-correct income tax figure. It sucks that you have to guesstimate it if you haven't filed your taxes. Also that the instructions in some sections are unclear/inadvisable.

I hope so too! I'm overly excited to see what happens with you Round 2ers! Wishing you all the absolute best.

And if anyone is in Chicago and needs a drink, let me know and we'll get you one.

Yea, I think they do let you make corrections later on, though. That's why I didn't stress out too much about guesstimate figures.
