Hey everyone, I submitted my app 3 weeks ago and have only had one reference outstanding for the last two weeks. My referee sent the recommendation at 2pm EST on Wednesday, but I've yet to receive any confirmation via email that my file is complete? Is that standard? Most schools I've applied to send confirmation by this time

FWIW I got an email about my first received reco, but did NOT get it for the second. I have no idea why, but could only see that both were complete as I was finishing up my app. My advice is to confirm with them or with your recommender.

Yeah same for me. I know the second reco was sent because my referee confirms just afterwards. On the status checker site its also showing "complete" for the application and both recommendations, but I haven't received any sort of official notice from Ross stating that the application is complete. If I'm not supposed to receive anything that's fine, but I suppose it can't hurt to call and check up tomorrow sometime.

I had the same experience regarding e-mail notifications for my recommendations. I got a notice when the second one was submitted, but not the first. I figured it was just a glitch; the status for both showed "Submitted!" in my app review and I didn't think anything of it.

I did get a confirmation email when I submitted my application though, but I don't think they will send you another e-mail stating that your application has all the completed materials. However, you'll get an e-mail if something's missing.

So if I recollect this right.. Ross sends out decisions in 2 rounds.. one within 2 weeks of submission and another 2 weeks later.
Those who receive decisions in the 4th week are candidates whose apps are going thro a 2nd rd of profile review?

Yeah, just got the become a friend of UM email for a decision on the 14th. And it specifically mentioned that no decision will be rendered before the 14th. But I thought the school starts to call admitted candidates a couple of days before....
