Do you guys know/think there's any difference between being notified Oct 25 vs Nov 12? Like, if I'm not notified Oct 25, is that a bad sign?

It's hard to tell. She eludes to the answer in her Clear Admit interview, but it's not very clear. It sounded like applicants who clearly demonstrated strong academics and professional experience on the first read-over were placed in the first batch. If that's the case, the second batch would be created from subsequent readings.
That's just what it sounded like to me. I could be completely wrong.
Is Ross not interested in transcripts from community colleges or transfer schools? What about those of us who have tried to build something of an alternative transcript by acing quant courses? Anybody find a way to squeeze these into the application?

The optional essay may be a good place to discuss this. You wouldn't necessarily need to give them a transcript, but you could discuss why you needed additional quant classes and how you performed.
^^^ I was able to submit all transcripts. how many do you need? they give room to add more institutes as you go.... I uploaded transcripts from 3 schools

The issue is that they request specifically transcripts from degree-granting institutions. The form prompts you for the date the degree was awarded, if none is entered. I took courses from schools that didn't grant a degree and want them included.
^^Oh I see, yeah I called the adcom and they told me to just put the date i stopped attending that school in the degree date. Yeah I forgot about that.

The assistant director of admissions sent me an email a few minutes ago. She has been really helpful in answering some of my questions over the past month. What really gets me though is when she sent me the email. What sort of environment breeds the work commitment where a person is sending emails to an applicant at midnight on a Sunday??? I REALLY want to go to Ross!
Subscribing to the thread! Biting nails to check about application status. Around what time is this expected

The interview invite format has changed for this year. The Ross Admissions blog said the first batch for Round 1 would go out this Monday, but I didn't see anything about a specific time frame during the day in question. As it is the first year, it is hard to gauge when the emails will start rolling out. That being said, I think we can assume it will be during normal business hours, though there are no guarantees.
I wonder if it will happen all at once, or over the course of the day! I don't want to start flipping out when some people in this thread start posting that they got interview invitations.

I believe Community College is still a degree granting institution, just cuz you didn't get a degree from it doesn't matter. You can also always combine all the transcripts together into one file if you don't have room.

I would not worry about timing. Last year I was R2 and notified like 8 weeks in. Ariel was notified like 2 weeks before announcements.
Also this may just be organizing the interviews. They might already have the list of interviews they just need to make sure they have enough interview slots. They only allow you 3 weeks from the day you receive your interview invite to actually interview (only 2 weeks when I did it).
Just a simple question - my application activity status shows that the application has:
Started: October 02, 2010 (PST) Sent: October 11, 2010 (PST) Confirmed: October 12, 2010 (PST)
does this means I am in for R1 or R2? (sent the application before the deadline, application confirmed after deadline).
whatever the answer is, count me for that round!

I noticed your dates are in PST. They need to be in Eastern Time. If you submitted your application & payment before 11:59pm EDT on Oct 11, 2010, you are fine. The confirmation doesn't matter. You also can try calling the admissions committee at Ross
I submitted everything ontime, though the confirmation from the GMAC regarding my score was sent on october 12th. I hope that this still keeps me in for R1.
