The worst thing is being an international student waiting up and obsessively checking GC, and knowing that they are not gonna call you anyway coz of the time difference.

I should probably sleep, but I also know that they usually send emails around 4pm EST, and thats in 2 hrs, sigh!

Id really like this uncertainty to end!

I'm sorry to prolong your agony, but the emails won't go out until tomorrow around 4pm. I'm not sure which side of the International Date Line you're on, but it's March 7th in Michigan.

Well, my time zone is GMT +5.30.

I read earlier that some international students received emails instead of calls, but the blog says they will email accepted students that they have not been able to call by tomorrow 4pm EST. Looks like there is a long wait to go!

Good luck everyone and congrats to the admitted, its time to get me some sleep!

Call was short - like 1.5 minutes. Nothing about scholarship even when I asked...

I disagree. Too many people have the financial aid link for all of them to be admits. Almost everyone here has the 2012 link.

I asked how do I know about scholarships and financial aid. I was told financial aid docs will be in the formal letter. Not a word on scholarship..so I am not too hopeful. But you do have a 770 GMAT and seems like a good chance for you..

I think there's enough proof now and we can safely say that those who have the 2012 link are most likely admitted.

The question now is, those who do not have the 2012 link, are they conclusively not in? Only an admit w/o a 2012 link can prove this (and s/he better be someone with a vintage on GC!)

There is no rhyme or reason to the order of the calls.....see below from Soojin's blog post.

We will begin calling admitted students later today and continue through tomorrow. There is no method to the order of the calls. Each of the admissions staff is responsible for different regions. The Associate Director who manages your region will contact you if you are admitted. Given the large volume of admits in Round 2, we will likely not be able to call everyone. We will email admitted students we aren't able to call by 4PM tomorrow.
