WOW emir - let me be the first to congratulate you. You have been the true "underdog" story of 2009... incredible stuff.

I am in... I am in... I am in... I am just repeating this so I can believe it for myself. They called me 4 times but i was in a meeting, when I saw the area code in the missed call I think I entered into a new dimension....

Congrats Emir !
PS: What is his story Btw (Plz provide me the link if its already mentioned)
I dont know the entire story, I only know parts of it. One thing I know for sure is that emir has worked extraordinarily hard for this and has seen failures along the way. For instance emir took gmat 3 times to cross 700 - a real model of perseverance. But anyway I'd highly encourage Emir to put up a detailed debrief to serve as an inspiration for the rest of the club.
Congrats to all ! Pretty good acceptance rate! I am very impressed with msday and Mikus who swept H/W/S. I don't look forward to competing with you for FT jobs
No call for me, so that's probably a ding. Well, Well, it is a disappointment but glad to see that a lot of us will go to an amazing school!
Hey all... Thank you for all the good wishes.. 90% I will be matriculating stanford... To all those who try to make sense out of MBA admissions process here you go: Stanford is my only admit...And it is the most selective school... I am waitlisted at 2 schools (wharton and kellogg) and rejected from harvard, mit (without interview), uchicago, stern(without interview:)).. But looking now. I am glad I got rejected from harvard because now I do not have to make a tough choice...
Just got the call - I still can't believe it but I AM IN!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
15:30 GMT+2 here in Israel.
As a silent observer of the forum usually i wanted to thank you guys for the info and for sharing your experiences. i promise to contribute as well in the future.

agreed. No one should be discouraged by admission consultants or convince themselves they are not good enough for the best schools. It's worth a shot
I just wanted to say that the GMAT Club folks are so much more positive than those on the BW forums. I am so thankful for the positive energy right now--during this excruciating wait.
Congratulations to those who've gotten in! And a big thanks to those who haven't heard but are still staying positive.
OK, I had my partner call the admissions office, and this is their response: "As the calls are an unofficial process, I can't give you any information about them. Anything could happen between now and 5pm PST today." Yep ...
OK got some sleep...4 admits from the board is pretty sweet, congrats all!
Looks like the calls have gone out, so I'm not too optimistic at this point. Jcl, I'm rooting for you, but if we both get dinged, I think we should start a band called "Rejected by Stanford." That's a money band name.
