Essay 1: What matters most to you, and why? The best examples of Essay 1 reflect the process of self-examination that you have undertaken to write them. They give us a vivid and genuine image of who you are—and they also convey how you became the person you are. They do not focus merely on what you've done or accomplished. Instead, they share with us the values, experiences, and lessons that have shaped your perspectives. They are written from the heart and address not only a person, situation, or event, but also how that person, situation, or event has influenced your life. Essay 2: What do you want to do—REALLY—and why Stanford? Use this essay to explain your view of your future, not to repeat accomplishments from your past. You should address three distinct topics: your career aspirations the role of an MBA education in achieving those aspirations and your rationale for earning that MBA at Stanford, in particular. Ding! According to a Vocaz consultant, my "What matters the most" essay was one of the best essays he had ever read. It seems the adcom did not share his opinion.

Last night, I dreamt that I was admitted to Stanford ! What a bitter taste when I woke up! Right now, I'm hoping my dream was the reality and I'm currently dreaming... I'm scared to check if the top is still spinning...

Okay, I'm having some trouble with my transcripts. I'm able to acquire copies from all the schools I attended, but here are my issues: - For one school, although I can access it, I can't get the stupid thing to print entirely from the website. I was stuck having to copy and paste everything into a Word doc. Is this sufficient? - According to the site, they want a copy of the back of the transcript so that they have the university's transcript key. All of the transcript copies I have come from the schools' websites. What do I do? Help!

Try print screens or printing to PDF. It might help if you get the copies notarized, just to make it look legit.

The application says - Upload only one copy of the back page, to provide us with your university's transcript key. The back page of my transcripts are blank. What should i do?

good luck to everyone! i went to stanford for my undergraduate degree. stanford was absolutely amazing and is even better today. applying to wharton first helped to make my stanford application far stronger than it would have been otherwise.
