Swank - good luck. I'm a long-time lurker and have seen many a post from you, and also from SF, so go kill the GMAT and do the damn thang.
As for the "what's everyone else thinking"....well I've been admitted to Georgetown and Vanderbilt, dinged from Kellogg and Duke, WL at UCLA, and awaiting Marshall. I was really high on Georgetown, but Vandy gave me a 2/3's scholarship, which is looking mighty fine.
My predicament: I know i want to go into marketing after school on the industry side - non CPG, but a big company in an industry I like (boating, sports, booze). I currently work in consulting, but for a sales/markleting strategy firm, and want to give the traditional industry side a shot. That being said, I know I'll only make ~90k out of school wherever I go. Seriously, the placement in marketing/brand mgmt/prod mgmt is 90k +/- 5k at every school I considered. So, looks like I'm goin to take the option with the least debt. I don't want to be a CEO of a F2000 or go to M/B/B, so the brand name of the school is slighthly less relevant to my goals. Does my logic seemed flawed?
