Yea I received my call pretty early at 7pm IST which was 5:30am EST...I began seeing posts on BW around that time. I assumed that calls started going out in the morning depending on your time zone, I received another call and e-mail around 9am EST as well. Most of the calls went out around the morning EST on D-day. Yea the decisions went live a little later than expected although I do know of a lot of people who received their e-mails around the officially posted release time. I think they just tried to contact everyone as soon as they were able to...there aren't that many people on the adcom so they did the best they could. One way or the other you will definitely know by mid morning...terry, congrats on getting into Stanford...too bad we won't be going to Wharton together .
Adding myself to the watchlist here as well...good luck all you guys. I'm in Asia, so will be at work with cell phone in hand in my afternoon hoping for that call!
Terry, haha yea we had a great time at the winter welcome...you'll have a great time at Stanford. Can't go wrong with Tiger as an alum . TC could have started calling already...as I said I know of people who got the call in the AM in Asia which may be the case...honestly don't stress about it decisions will go live in a bit hang in there.
are you native or did you learn chinese on your own? it's super impressive either way, but even more so if you are not chinese! congrats again -- i am jealous!!
