Thanks! And at the risk of over analyzing things (I just thought of this), it might be interesting for those admitted to note whether they got their interview invite on the first Friday (10/29) or the second (11/5). I'm just curious if there's a trend (theory being first interview invites were more surefire candidates) or if adcom really just hadn't gotten through all the applications by the first date.

doubt it's alphabetical because i'm usually at the top of most alphabetical lists

(though i guess that's under the HUGE assumption that I'm actually on the admit list to begin with lol)

I got a call at around 830am PST - I have been accepted into the 3-year JD/MBA program. I am located in California, and interviewed with an alum out here on November 23 (I received the interview invitation on October 29). My stats:

F/27 at matriculation/5 years WE in litigation consulting/750 GMAT/170 LSAT/3.7 undergrad from top 2 public.

calls go out when we get to them, please remember WE ARE STUDENTS CALLING - there is no rhyme or reason as to when we call or who gets called (some callers may have woke up at 8am while some are just now waking :) ), obviously we're not going to call someone in California at 6am.

212girl - there are more than 140 admits for round 1, but the number of calls being made today is about that #....we simply cannot get to everyone. adcom has not revealed why this 140 got called today vs just getting a call later so good luck with the speculation.

please everyone, just relax, regardless of a call or not, you WILL KNOW TODAY around 4PM EST.

Last year they only called Fellowship, Lauder and HCM people. This year may be similar.

P.S. A regular guy reported an admit (none of the above 3 categories fit him) so maybe they are not repeating last year. Still 140 is low and I think there will be more people admitted without a call than with a call today.
