Due to the nature and complexity associated with the admissions process there is no particular order in which invitations are released. just got the call at 1.40pm EST - very exciting.
M/28/730/WE: M&A+hedge fund for 6 yrs/international, but currently based on east coast.

Edit: it was from a 2nd year student... He said that email will be sent out this afternoon to everybody.

I received a call a few minutes ago from a: 202 000 0000. I was not able to answer. I live abroad…. Any thoughts? I am guessing this was the call…. I´m going crazy

Freaking out right now... Got a call from Lauder, they left a vmail but asked me to call back - didn't say if I got in or not. And when I called it went to vmail on their end!!

I'm in agony...

You guys were right... but that was still stressful! Finally had a chance to calm down after the initial excitement. Whew!

I believe the theory was that the calls were all going out before 2pm. Not sure what % of the admitted students got called - but I have a sinking feeling that it was many/most. Based on info from this thread, I think the electronic decisions will be posted around 3 or 4.

As someone who didn't receive a call - I'm fairly sure that the aforementioned sinking feeling is the cause of my current nausea. Working hard to look on the bright side and not throw up in the trashcan in my cube...

Not sure yet - I'm hoping to pursue a dual degree and the SAIS/Wharton option would have been perfect. But Georgetown has good options too - particularly the school of foreign service. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see how I feel in the clear light of day after all the adrenaline/nausea passes
