MBAGirl, given that Wharton's acceptance rate of 17%, if 30% of applicants are interviews and 40% of interviewees are admitted, then the 12% seems low. Is it more like 60% of interviewees are admitted, in-line with other schools? Thanks.
That may be true. The 30% estimate was mentioned by Wharton people during admissions chats, but the second number could vary depending on who you ask. Nobody knows the final numbers but Wharton. At GMATClub, it looked like we had 30% of interviewed people accepted, 30% waitlisted, and 30% dinged.
