Folks - I received 2 emails from Chicago today.

1. Asking to verify all personal information (Name, Address, Phone, etc) to make sure that everything is correct.

2. Informing me that they have still not received my official transcripts.

Anyone else received these emails?

I had interviewed off-campus with an alum on 11/11.

Got both of these as well. The second email concerned me a bit because I was sure I had sent in my transcripts. But after I replied to the email, I received a reply within 20 minutes saying they had made an error & did in fact have my transcripts. On a side note, I'm scheduled to interview on Saturday.

I advise you to send these documents via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or other kind of reliable service, especially for internationals.

I got both emails today. I sent transcripts by Fedex a couple of days ago. It seems they haven't put them in my file as yet.

Got both e-mails. Mailed them back with information that helped them locate my transcript (name of person who signed for it). They sent me an e-mail confirming they have it.

I received them also. I only requested my transcripts yesterday after receiving the reminders. I hope they arrive on time.

me too. I still have to send them my undergrad transcripts. Since they are from India, I have to get copies notarized and I haven't had a chance to do that yet. I hope for them to receive it before thanksgiving.

Question to those who have interviewed off campus - do you see any change in your application status once the alumnus files his report? I interviewed over a week ago and am still seeing "Invited to interview".

Thanks!
Gil

I haven't seen any change, but then again, it's only been two days...

I got all three emails before I had a chance to reply. I'm disappointed to hear that you haven't interviewed yet - I got the emails the day after interviewing, and was kind of hoping they were simply checking off the last box before admitting me!

good luck terp and levin! I have mine on Monday.

levin - "fit" with Chicago Booth is very important for them - so be sure to communicate that.

Hi everyone! I had a great visit today. My interviewer was so nice, and asked the standard questions-
-Why Booth
-Why an MBA
-Tell me about your extracurricular activities
-How do you find time for your extracurriculars as a consultant
-Do you think it's easier being a team member or leader
-Tell me about a failure

All in all, it was very quick, but I felt like it was a nice conversation. The admissions reps at the front desk were extremeley helpful and nice. I asked about my transcript, and they said they might have not linked it with my application because my transcript was under my maiden name so hopefully that cleared it up.

I met Rhyme! Rhyme met me beforehand and gave me some last minute tips - thank you again Rhyme!

I sat in on marketing strategy - the class was really interactive and the students were very friendly. The building is very open and modern. A lot of facilities for group work and for studying.

And last but not least, it snowed here today! Just a little but it was a nice treat to get some flurries. Chicago was great and I am so excited by the school. Good luck to everyone and remember - try to enjoy yourself and don't be nervous for your interview! I had a great time!
