Calling Chicago GSB 2008 applicants

I'd have no problem taking a 5am admit call

dj I don't know, I think they will wait to call later, they can wait 2-3 more hours.

I received my call around 9.30pm, so I think that they manage as much as they can...

Congratulations to the admits so far...it sure does seem a little weird to see the number of conversions on this club...

Call me , but I still stick to my analysis from yesterday, regardless of that "clarification" on the GSB discussion forum.

Unfortunately there is no way to confirm it
That said...I do believe calls will continue going out till tomorrow.

KK - my status did the same thing yesterday (I checked it after you posted) - and I got the call today, so I'd take the "clarification" as they stated.

I'd like to believe that too.. however..by the time I posted yesterday the said fields had already been taken out.
So I am thinking..when you saw the PDF it did not have the dates. Had you seen the status change date on the PDF "before" the GSB took it out..I am 100% sure that it would've been a date newer than the date they sent out the interview invite to you.

Per my logic...a newer date would've meant either a WL or an admit but no change definitely means a ding.
Believe me when I say that I want my analysis to be wrong more than anybody else.
But modifying a report on just before D-day, after 2 full rounds of admission, right after someone posts about it...just because......gimme a break!

Only the GSB can prove me wrong! Anybody listening there ?

Well, my hope is starting to fade. On the up side, a consolation lunch is cheaper than a celebration dinner.

Why are people so glum? Isn't the official release date tomorrow morning at 9 am? My understanding is that they will not be able to call everyone, but that an email (or status change on the website) will be available by 9 CST. I don't really see what the point is in getting all bent out of shape right now -- there is still plenty of time. I might just be diluding myself, but I remain optimistic for myself and for the rest of GMATClub.

Hang tight guys. I wouldn't say the fat lady has sung just yet. I would expect calls will continue until after 5pm CST -- I believe they did in R1.

I have a missed call from a 773 number..no voicemail though..keeping my fingers crossed. I think I am in because I never get a call 773 area code...I will try calling back after 5PM EST..
