If it makes you feel any better my app still says received. I called and the adcom said they would be sending it to the committee on Friday. IF I get an invite it's going to come very very late in the cycle.

In another site, someone mentioned that when he contacted....the Darden adcom mentioned R1 interview invites could go upto Jan 3rd.

In their Austin reception, one of the adcoms said the first week of Jan is when they are busy preparing for interviews (not sure if she meant 'inviting' or 'holding interviews'). She herself was going to be out in Asia for most of november/december to hold info. sessions there ...

yeah....but one way to console myself if I dont hear from them soon is that their post holiday interview schedule (12 days) is longer than the one before Christmas (4 days). So maybe the interview invites may be more later on !!

Just checked my online application status. It says "Pending". I wonder if it means it's pending to be reviewed or if it's been reviewed but Darden adcom is thinking of an artful way of saying Ding.

Mine went from Submitted to Preparing for Review to Pending. If yours has been pending since day two then no way Pending can mean ding. I feel happier... eh, less misrable :P

guys, settle down. I am in the same boat as you all. I think that, looking at all of our profiles, that if Darden has not interviewed at least One of us, then, well were in big big trouble. I have not seen anywhere on this site people getting interviews.

Congrats guys!

I got a 'status has been updated' email on the 8th Dec. A formal email inviting for an interview was sent out to me only on the 11th.

Congrats ! I presume you folks will be scheduling for the Jan interviews.

Any of you Internationals ? I haven't heard much of Intnls getting interview invites.

How do you plan to prepare for the "open-ended" Darden interviews ?
