I think today was the worst (I live in the Detroit area)...Tuesday should be better. Im not sure if you have driven in snow before, just make sure you go slow and you'll be ok.

They are not kidding when you see the signs that say bridge may be icy.

Other than that your biggest issue may be your connection at Chicago.

Anyway, good luck on your interview!

Thanks, Thats good info hsampath. Yes, I lived in NY/NJ for a while, so I have driven in the snow. In the worst case, I will pick up a cab from the airport.

Southwest just told me that the connection from chicago got canceled and that they are trying to fly into DTW later tonight.

I believe North East is getting the brunt of everything...

of course its mid 70s here in LA.... anyone wanting to migrate is more than welcome...

Got another 8 inches here. It switched over though so its starting to pack down, but there is still probably a foot on the ground here. Tomorrow would be a great day for someone from down south to visit Tuck.

I was making some plans to go skiing up in the North East... plans are still on hold due to the flight cancellations and delays...

You mentioned you are flying South West. It uses Midway airport and it tends to fewer cancellations compared to ORD because of more slack in capacity. Look for Midway cancellations in news reports instead of flight cancellations in Chicago. Hope you make your flights and good luck

We got hit hard Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Easy commute in to work this morning. You should be fine tomorrow.
