Hey folks, I'm very upset that lalammc got more requests for interview advice than I did! Sniff. I'm feeling very unwanted! I bet sapphireka got more too. 
Anyway a few comments from reading what's been said so far.
Interviewing with an alum does not necessarily mean a 60 year old hedge fund manager. Mine was a young i-banker, early thirties max. We were able to have an easy ice-breaking conversation about nightlife in London and some other banter. This is a double edged sword though because young people can see through fancy rhetoric so you have you to be down-to-earth and honest (not that I was planning to reel off BS though!)
My interviewer had also seen my resume in advance because he asked me about a few things. Since that's the prevailing policy, if you get an adcom who does know your application (if that's possible), I doubt they would ask questions about it.

I counted 12 so far...I still have 2 to reply (Sorry guys, I will do it later today).
I agree with britguy, alum interviewer could be anything. In my case was a late 30s/early 40s entrepreneur who also had a leadership position at a local university. He read my resume in advance and had some questions/comments. One of my friends was interviewed by a Class of 2009 alum that had just came back from Chicago at the time of the interview.

Two things.

Second, you shouldnt think of the purpose of visiting as solely for your interview, but rather as for your own benefit...... there isnt that much of a difference between saying "I enjoyed booth live" and "I am looking forward to booth live this friday".
