Hi everyone.
I did the interview related to the R2 of Tuck (Full Time MBA) in the middle of January and now I was called for a second interview.
I asked the interviewer and she informed me that I do not need a preparation. The interview will occur in the Skype and just via audio call (no camera).
Does anyone know what this is about? What kinds of questions will she ask me?
Hello
erikcf28,
This likely means that you are still in the running, but Tuck has yet to decide the outcome of your application status. This additional interview is probably going to be similar to the first but go into a bit more detail.
Though you were told you do not need to prepare, you may benefit from taking some time to go over the following:
- Your resume
- Your short- and long-term goals
- Your leadership / team experiences
- Your leadership style / how this will evolve over time
- Why now is the right time for an MBA
- Your strengths and weaknesses
- How your friends would describe you
- What you will do if an MBA does not work out
- A time that you:
o Stepped outside your role
o Worked with someone difficult
o Faced a challenge (what was your influence & what was outcome?)
o Worked well with a team
Make sure you are also prepared to discuss the aspects that attracted you to Tuck. You should demonstrate your understanding of the school’s culture and how you will thrive and specifically add value on campus. Stay positive and bring confidence to the audio call! Not having to worry about being on camera should alleviate some stress.
Do not hesitate to reach out if you want any help.
