I think the metrics for ranking evaluation varies across the bodies and there is quite a bit of difference in outcomes of ranking therefore.
Also it seems that QS ranking tends to be influenced by Halo Effect a bit more that's why it tend to rank Cambridge higher.
Though FT ranking is more referenced for MBAs, there seems to be difference among folks there too. For instance, few of M7 schools, which are most preferred by applicants like Harvard aren't in top 10, which is quite weird.
Overall, from my understanding, I realized that M7 is a totally different game and when considering European MBAs they can't be compared with M7 for different resons. However, for European programs, I found that INSEAD and LBS are a tier above the other MBAs and there seems a general consensus about it.
Lastly, I think ranking though most sought after metrics, I think the selection of program is dependent on other variables too like the area of interest, post MBA goals, ROI in your specific case and your risk appetite etx.

Folks, I need your help to understand this MBA better. Do you think the CJBS MBA is good if you want to settle abroad especially in UK or Europe? I see so many of the previous students from India who came back to India after their MBA. So, can someone help give me insights on the possibility of working abroad after this MBA?
I think in prevailing economic conditions and UK immigration environment at the moment, finding a job there has definitely become challenging. Speaking to several current students and past alums, I realized that getting a job after Cambridge in UK isn't easy any more and one needs to seriously consider the option of targeting other geographies or coming back home. Also if plan is to target other geographies like ME or SEA one needs to also think which school gives best network there. And if the plan is to target Europe beyond UK, one has to also not underestimate the language barrier and the preference local schools will get there.
