Thank you for the kind words and sorry for the delay. I just checked back in to this thread to see if the good news had started coming.
I think waitlisted students can go to the Ross Rendezvous (
https://www.bus.umich.edu/StudentLife/RossRendezvous/) and I would advocate that. However if you cannot make either event I think you can really get the same information by doing a bit of web searching. It was great to see the building and be “sold” so to speak, but you are not at a disadvantage if you do not go. I think my favorite thing about GBR was the tour of the big house (Football Stadium) and just seeing the areas around Ross with living in mind. The students all had that same excitement you have probably seen with the alumni. If anyone needs a comparison, I can do my best. I visited Haas,Marshall, Kenan-Flagler, Fuqua, Kellogg, Ross, Tepper and Anderson.
For those who cannot visit but are attending I really think you should Google map the neighborhood and really investigate the appearance of where you will live, especially with respect to houses vs. apartments. 5 minutes and less from Ross is generally undergrad partyville and the houses and neighborhoods are generally trashed. Also, be aware that older houses with bad looking windows will be very cold and uncomfortable during the winter. The only reason I mention these things is I was blown away by how good some places looked online and how dumpy they were in person.

Hi Becky,
I had been lurking for awhile and your comments, even at the time when the "pre-released" decision tab incident occured, had always been inspiring. Appreciate it.
Now that the deposit deadline has passed, hopefully calls for waitlister will be coming soon (next week according to last year's trend). Ross had a high number of admited students who enrolled last year (71%) and that must stand for something regarding Ross's reputation.
I am interested in learning about the GBR. I realize that this happened close to a month ago but can you share some of your GBR experiences if you still remember?
Thanks and Regards,
JY

There are a lot of great schools. At GBR quite a few students said they were waiting on XYZ school before they would decide on Ross. I am no expert on these matters, but I would think in the next few days WL spots will begin to be released. Hang in there guys. The more dedicated Ross students there are the better. I'd rather have one of you excited chaps next to me in the proverbial trenches than someone who just didn't get into Kellogg.

Round 1 & 2 admitted students deadline to make a deposit to secure seats is approaching fast. For some reason I feel there won't be too many who would give up their seats this year. What ya'll think?
