MSX website mentioned that interview invitations would be sent during late October to late November. Maybe it’s not late October yet ;-)

In regards to the blog, I'm current MSx Student/Sloan Fellow - and I was kinda speechless reading it since it's such an extreme I've never encountered before. I've found my decision to enroll and accelerate my career definitely make sense and be justified.

With that said, if you're investing in an advanced degree, you should do your homework and expectations on the roles you want. Someone from the previous class is joining C-Suite of a Growth Equity Company, another interviewing for a CEO-in-Training Program. The opportunities are there, but you have to take stock or your background, value proposition and determine if and how the program can help you.

The blogger definitely seems sour on many aspects of the school (some justified), and doesn't seem like he or she enjoyed their experience which is unfortunate.

If you guys have questions, so campus visits, phone call chats, etc. with people in-person! Look at alumni too!

Not sure if there are many MSx applicants in R1. It’s strangely quiet. For the MBA program, there have been only 3 reported invites so far.

I just read last year's MSx thread - seems like a lot of people get interview calls. Thoughts ?

Getting jittery and double jittery and triple jittery. October is over. Only 3 weeks left in November for invitations to follow and we hear no noise :dream:
All the best guys! Whosoever gets an invitation, please post.

Same feeling! Invites will be sent until 14 Nov only. That leaves us just 9 (working) days

Quote:
We know waiting is hard! We have been hearing from candidates that knowing more about the process might be helpful, so we are writing to share a little more information with you.

• We will begin issuing interview invitations on 15 October 2018.

• Interview invitations will be sent regularly through 14 November 2018.

• If you have not received an interview invitation by 14 November 2018, you will not be admitted in this round.

So I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to call the MSx office. They said that as of today they haven’t sent out any invites yet. They would only start sending interview invites from tomorrow, 9 Nov. Good luck all!

does not look like it.

Also just curious.. how many people apply for the MSx program? Any stats on the acceptance rate based on any particular demographic? ( Just to keep the mind occupied while we wait :P )

Last year 400+ people applied, this year Mike is expecting 500 applications. Demographics are all over the place, but when I attended a class I got a vibe that Stanford undergrads do get a preference when they apply for MSx.

I think there are less than 80 in class of 2019. You can see their profiles on the MSx page. In one of the webinars, we were told that the number of applicants went up this year
