Hello,
I havea few observations on this GMAT study journey. The latest GMAT Prep software which is available for download from the mba website; has a few practice questions (about 90 odd) for the sections - quant, SC, DS etc
However, I have noticed that those questions are comparatively simpler than what is seen in the GMAT Prep full length exam.
I just now purchased the GMAT Prep question too from the mba website for additional practice. Yet again I am left with the feeling that these questions are definitely a bit simpler and less lengthier than the ones seen in the GMAT Prep full length exam.
A lot of people on the forums here say that the Actual GMAT is very close to the GMAT Prep tests. Can anybody who has taken the actual GMAT advise what is the sort of level expected of the quant questions?
I even find the OG 13 Questions pretty ok as compared to GMAT Prep full length exams.
Am I misinterpreting something here?

Note that you might be working on practice problems in a relaxed environment but creating a test environment for full length tests. That itself will create a big difference in the way you perceive the questions.
Also full length tests are adaptive i.e. if you do well, you see more and more higher level questions while practice questions would not be so. If you hover around 700 level, you will see only tricky questions in the full length tests. The practice sets obviously have questions from all levels. OG13 is simpler than GMAT prep full length tests since OG has mostly 500 - 650 level questions.
