It's called due diligence. I think you can find out the acceptance rate for each school from Businessweek or other source. No one has a "special insider" rate.

Jmw125, aren't these digits a little bit inflated? according to the table, Kelley admits 42 out of 100 applicants? real?

Those are acceptance rates...yields vary from school to school as well (as there are people who are admitted to a school and do not attend)...not sure how else to defend someone else's data...
