I have read some posts on this forum regarding the difference between GMAT and GRE. If someone is preparing for GMAT, can he/she give GRE ?
Also if someone has both GMAT and GRE scores, will there be any advantage while applying for MBA ?

I think there is substantial overlap. Your RC prep will definitely help you, as half of the GRE verbal is RC (and a little bit of CR). But SC prep won't help you much for the text completion and sentence equivalence questions. You might have to work on your vocabulary for those question types.
Overall, I'd say that while you don't have to start all over again to take the GRE, it does help to do some GRE specific prep.
