Reason: I just strated prep but applications close soon
Hi MeghaJoshi,

If you want to apply now but take the GMAT later, you really should reach out to your target schools and confirm whether they'd be okay with that.

In general it doesn't make a lot of sense to submit your applications then take the GMAT.

The GMAT is one of the few "objective" measures that schools have to assess your application. You need to know your GMAT score (or at least have one in hand even if you're retaking) when you are crafting your applications. In case you have a problem with part or all of your GMAT score, you can sometimes mitigate that with additional essay explanations or putting more emphasis on your quant credentials in your application.

In short, better to get your GMAT score, then pick programs, craft applications and submit.
