I need bit of help, if my profile makes sense for IIMA PGPX and can I make it for 2021 class.
A bit of back ground: I am working as a Portfolio Project Manager in world's largest listed Energy Company in Europe. Originally, Indian (though European citizen now) with bachelors in chemical engineering from India (GPA: 3.7 on scale of 4) and MSc in Technology Management from UK. Total of 15 years of work experience. First 3.5 years in India and the rest in Europe. The current portfolio handling size is around Euro 10 B with direct staff count of 12 and indirect in the range of 50-60 in matrix role. Skill sets: Process Engineering in Oil & Gas, Engineering Management, Project Management, Strategy and Ops Management.
My drive is to get back to India (back to the roots ) and inclined to work for Indian corporate sector at Executive Committee (EC), EC-1 or EC-2 level.
My questions/dilemmas are:
1. Can IIMA PGPX bring me to these organizations? 2. What kind of GMAT score, I must have to make any chance for acceptance. 3. I have never done GMAT or anything close to it in past. Can I still make it in upcoming 2 months before last date? 4. What kind of learning system IIMA PGPX does have? Living in Europe for more than a decade has made more of an intuitional learner than an instruction follower. Will I be able to survive the IIMA PGPX?
I know, I am asking a lot. But, if someone can throw some light, I will certainly grateful.
Kind Regards,
