In general, we recommend not expecting a higher score on the real thing than what you are getting in practice.

If you want to break 600, you should be able to break 600 in practice consistently when there is no test pressure. On the actual thing, other factors may take a role. Sure, you can potentially score higher than usual -- but you should not expect that.

Come into the test with confidence -- and that confidence comes from knowing that in practice, you were able to reach your goal multiple times.

So if anything, review your mistakes religiously. And if you have time for an extra practice test, try this one: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test

Otherwise, it doesn't hurt to postpone the test date a little bit just to give yourself a bit more confidence for the real thing.

Thank you for the advice and link, GMATPill. I will definitely do a practice test on your website.
I have seen the GMAT score calculator here on the forum, but this was excluding the VeritasPrep test. Does anybody know how much this represents the real test? I have noticed in the review section of the test that there is no range of score (500-600, 600-700, etc) for the questions stated.

Hello,

That is unfortunate. Any breakdown on what happened?

Hopefully it can be taken as a lesson learned to improve the score in the future?
