Can someone explain why "Found to" is idiomatically incorrecT??

I believe I would need the full sentence. However, found is usually followed by "that", sometimes by "in", and rarely by "to be." In the sentence you may or may not be referring to the word "found" may be inefficient or awkward or it may not express the idea as efficiently as another phrase/word.
