Can someone please explain whether  WHICH/THAT/ANY PRONOUN  can refer to  a noun in a prepositional phrase ?

Hi  abhinashgc , of course they can. In fact  numerous  examples can be found in official examples.

The results of the company's cost-cutting measures are evident in its profits, which have increased 5 percent during the first 3 months of this year after falling over the last two years.

which  refers to  profits  (that appears as part of prepositional phrase  in its profits ).

Which vs that

I hate the dogs that bark.

(that without comma means subset)

It means their are many dogs and you hate only those dogs which bark
_______________

I hate dogs, which bark.

I hate all dogs. Additional quality of those dogs is they bark.
