Hi all, I need some clarification regarding what industry do I belong to.
I work at a big 4 consulting firm and my designation is tech consultant. But in my daily work life I am basically using I.T tools and softwares to write codes.
So my question is while applying to any B school what should I mention my industry as?
Is it Consulting or Computer Software ?

depends on your desired emphasis. If your role is primarily technical/coding and lacks a business focus, you could choose "Computer Software." However, if you play a role in advising stakeholders, leading tech transformations for clients, and wish to be seen as a consultant, "Consulting" may be a better fit.
Don't overthink this. Single-word responses on applications are only used for data collection purposes. How you speak about your profile in your essays will largely determine the outcome.
