I wanted to ask two things
1) In Which schools can i assume to get a sure short admission, Are there any other schools that i can apply?
2) Will my chances of getting a good job in US affected because of the red flags in my profile?

Hey:
1. I feel like you can be pretty secure about Smeal and Georgia Tech. MIT, Ross, and ISB will be tough. And the others in the middle. Are there other schools you can apply to? Certainly! But to figure that out I need to understand your criteria and needs for selecting schools (weather? location? big city/small city, east coast/west coast)

2. nope! Just get into a good Bschool.

:)

Best,
JF

Hi JF,
Just a little query regarding my two backlogs in the undergrad, which i cleared in second attempt. The real reason was that i had imagined engineering to be more practical but found it to be more theoretical side, that's y was a little taken aback and that affected my study..but after these backlogs i realized that i can intermix theory wd practical, i just have to put more efforts. And then i did my own research on net, did various presentations at school to teach students practical stuff, did 2 internships, organized various events that offered practical technical knowledge. ...
Is the above explanation fine for these backlogs or is it awkward.

To be honest, your explanation is too technical, and will not be that interesting tot he ADcom. Stories that work are things like "I grew up illiterate and from a poor family, was working two jobs to pay for my degrees, and was working on my startup).

If you don't have a reason like that, then Id just leave things as is,

Well, Like I wrote, I think you can leave alone the GPA issue. But it may very well be a good idea to address the thing about the gap year.

Best,
