I have just started looking into graduate business programs and I was wondering, when applying to a part-time program, do you have to be employed or have employment set in the schools area?
For example if I want to apply to a part-time program in California(lets say im in NY), do I need to have a job lined up in the area, or would it be possible to gain admission and then find a job in the area?

no of course not. many part time programs have people who fly in from all over the world.
