Say you've been admitted to the JD/MBA program. Half way through your firsylt year, you realize law isn't really your thing. Can you opt-out then from the JD/MBA program, and pursue a single degree(MBA)?

You forgot to put quote asking for a friend LOL JK.

If you had to be admitted to each School separately I imagine that that would be acceptable.

I don't know for sure and I honestly think it would be good for you to ask that pointed question to admissions because the policy might change from one program/school to another.

Some programs have a special quota for that program and so I'm not sure they would be cool with you dropping part of it out.

Just from personal experience I think doing both of those degrees is the same time seems kind of psychotic. But I am a Tulane Law dropout. Did my MBA and was a much better fit.

I hope that you can research what it would be like to be in a role that would require both of those degrees or whatever the goal is so that you can avoid disappointment if you haven't already started.
