Hi Hjort ,
I am pretty confused right now whether to retake the GMAT or is it good enough for my target schools.
These are my target schools and I request your inputs on whether I need to retake or not.
1) Michigan State Univ
2) University of South Carolina
3) Minnesota-Carlson
4) Thunderbird
5) Chicago GSB-- I know this is a long shot becoz of my GMAT but they have their range from 640-720 so I assume that I can technically apply.
My profile:
Undergraduate: Electrical Engg (Univ of Madras, GPA: 3.7)
Masters: Biomedical Engg (Univ of Tennesee, GPA: 3.83)
Currently working at the Mayo clinic as a R&D associate in Clinical Research. ( will have just above 2 years of exp when starting work)
GMAT: 660
I plan to specialize in international business/ Supply chain management. My dad started a healthcare sourcing company back in India and we have been functional for over 2 years and doing good. My aim is to gain expertise on the finer details of business as I do not have any formal training and my ultimate goal is to go back and base myself in India and run my company more efficiently.
Volunteering/Community camps: Actively participated in Blood donation camps and walks.
Leadership capabilities: President, IEEE students chapter
Vice-president, students dramatics association
President, National Sysmposium organizing committee at my undergraduate institute.
Thanks
