Hi,
I am preparing for GMAT but i am not able to gain confidance in Sentence correction.
Allways get confused.
I have GMAT official Guide 13th edition and Manhattan review latest edition.
Please give me some advice and tips.
Thanks,
Vishal
Hi Vishal, I agree with the advice given by GMATPILL, you can improve your SC by a lot in a relatively short time frame if you know what to look for. You have the books, but learning what to look for is the main takeaway of studying. Remember that sentence correction is primarily concerned with logic, and the incorrect answer choices will usually have something logically wrong within them (meaning, use of terms, etc).
Also, if you want to get more familiar with English grammar, it's always helpful to start reading more in English. Based on your writing it seems that English isn't your first language, so increased exposure will help you subconsciously become more familiar with the rules of grammar and how correct sentences are formed. This is a little more of a long-term improvement but it can help with your RC, SC and AWA (and that's just on the GMAT) so it's never a bad use of your time.
Hope this helps!
