Hi Guys,

I am filling out the responsibility/accomplishment section in my application for my EC's, work experience, and entrepreneurial work. A person in admission said some applicants use CAR's (Challenge, Action, & Result) to convey their accomplishments.

Has anybody used this and have some advice as to how one should go about doing this?

Thanks!

Something like this?

"As the financial officer for ABC Charity, I organized a telethon that raised the \$50,000 we needed to construct a new clubhouse which provided after-school activities for over 40 low-income children."

C - the \$50,000 we needed
A - I organized a telethon
R - a new clubhouse that provided after-school activities for over 40 low-income children.

This seems very similar to the more popular STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). I went to this as a default framework for interviews.
