So, I am still awaiting decisions from a couple of my schools and will hear back by the end of the month.
The absence of MBA-admissions related activity has left this huge void in my life, which I am trying to fill with healthy tasks, rather than drinking on Tuesday night.
I was wondering, if it would be possible to get an internship (entry level) in one of the smaller banks on the easy coast.
I am an IT consultant with a big 4 and have no prior banking background. However, I am interested in this field and would love to get some experience before I even go to B-school.
I don’t care much about my current job and can quit the day I hear from one of my schools.
Don’t know if anyone of you has heard of it or have any ideas of how this can be accomplished.

I've thought about it and tried to put some feelers out through connections I have, but it's not proving fruitful. Most firms have set internship times - they can't just take on an intern outside of the season - nor do they seek to.
