Hi all
I have registered recently and have a query for the experts in the group.
I am already an MBA from one of the top 10 b-schools in India. I have 11+ years of experience mainly into consulting, shared service/captive and IT companies. In search of an excellent role with good career trajectory, I have changed quite a few jobs and I now find myself in a mess with limited growth and career options.
I have a mix of IT (core development) + limited front-end consulting + KPO experience. I now think that I need course correction and hence interested to know if I should go for a second MBA?
Just to add, I am already at a decent packaage and don't think that second MBA from IIMs or ISB is going to add any additional value (considering my b-school is already at par).
My plan is to do 1 year MBA from US/UK/SG so that I can get foreign placement and necessary course correction along with decent salary to pay off my loans, etc.
Do you have any suggestions? I would love to hear from you..

Since you already have an MBA it will be a bit tougher because many programs will really need to feel giving you a spot in their class for a second MBA over someone for their first MBA. Generally. your rationale will have to be pretty strong here. There are only a few top US MBA 1YR programs that would provide the ROI you are looking for if they were willing to accept you with already having an MBA so I would target non-US programs and research if there are any restrictions for second MBA candidates
