There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I have over 12 years of experience in economic research and financial markets, with an MSc in Economics. I'm interested in doing an MBA and looks like the IBEAR MBA at Marshall does admit students in mid 30s, with over 12-13 years of experience. However, my main aim is to get a good role in the US post this course.
I currently work in portfolio management and sovereign credit analysis with an international banking group in India and would want to continue to work in banking post the IBEAR MBA.
I want some clarity on the career opportunities post the IBEAR MBA in the US for international students. It's not the traditional 2 year MBA, and hence, I understand the 'typical access to recruiters' might not be there? Or am I wrong? How easy or tough is it for an international, experienced candidate (12+ years) to get a role in the US post this course?
I shall be very grateful if someone who has knowledge of this aspect of the course, (could be admissions expert, IBEAR USC MBA alumni etc.) could share their insights.
Thanks!
