Hi
I am trying to short list MBA programs and need your help in same.
My GMAT score is 630, B.E. Info tech, nearly 7 years of experience in IT.
As I have location preference to Carolina state (North, south, east) or nearby areas , request you to please help me with options available. So far I have selected below ones in my list.
1. North Carolina State University (NC)
2. Clemson (SC)
Also, it will be great if you can throw some light on UNC - Charlotte & greensboro.
Why are they ranked low, even though UNC ? Should I consider these colleges?
I am not able to get any proper information on these ones.

Lucky for you, I actually live in South Carolina
When it comes to MBA programs in the Carolinas, Duke and UNC Kenan-Flagler are the top ones, though these will likely be tough for you, especially Duke, given your stats. I think Clemson and NC State are good ones to have on your list. I would also add Univ. of South Carolina in Columbia, which is particularly known for international business. Also perhaps Wake Forest, though they now only offer part-time programs in both Winston-Salem and Charlotte.
Rankings are based on a number of factors including employment rates, average GMAT scores, student satisfaction, etc. I believe that UNC Charlotte and UNC Greensboro have pretty strong part-time MBA programs and may just invest more of their resources there. But rankings aren't everything so if there's something you're drawn to with those schools, like location or industry specialization, then they're definitely worth checking out. Or at least keep them your list for now in case you want to apply to a safety school. Often the best way to find out about the program is to visit the school, if you can, or at least try to speak with someone in admissions. Often times they'll be able to connect you with a current student or alum that you could speak more with.

Thank you very much for your valuable reply.
Yes, I will keep these MBA programs on my list for now.
I did check about South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. It is not traditional full time MBA.
It includes learning a foreign language in language immersion program and also international internship.
I have learnt Japanese and worked as a bi-lingual in Tokyo for few years. But I am not sure whether I can make something out of it now
as I plan to be in USA, due to personal problems.
Also I feel learning language along with MBA curriculum could be too tough. I don't have any clue on international MBA and its future career.
