Hello everyone,
Recently I appeared for 2 Veritas Prep CATs and as I was analyzing my scores I noticed something strange
CAT1 - Quant score 50 (Correct/Incorrect = 17/14)
Difficulty - Correct - Incorrect - Total
(500-550) - 1 - 0 - 1
(600-650) - 6 - 3 - 9
(650-700) - 8 - 6 - 14
(700-750) - 2 - 5 - 7
CAT2 - Quant score 49 (Correct/Incorrect = 22/9)
Difficulty - Correct - Incorrect - Total
(500-550) - 5 - 0 - 5
(600-650) - 13 - 7 - 20
(650-700) - 4 - 2 - 6
(700-750) - 0 - 0 - 0
Now you see, my overall accuracy was better in CAT2 but I didnt get even one (700-750) level question
So, as per this,
I think an aspirant should always aim to reach the hardest questions and try to attempt as many hard questions as possible.
Accuracy matters for easy and medium questions because if you get these questions incorrect you will never be provided medium hard and hard level questions. Thus your score wont improve because you have not attempted the hard questions
bb Kindly provide your inputs about this.
VeritasKarishma I wanted to know how similar is Veritas scoring to actual GMAT scoring
