Thank you for your reply.
Would your perspective change if I aspire to work in my home country of the Netherlands instead of Ireland or the Czech Republic?
I will still say UCD has a stronger brand name unless you are looking after the cost of attendance. Another factor could be the curriculum. You could define and decide which of the two you like better.

Hi everybody,

I have doubts to what program I want to accept the coming year.
I have been accepted to the CEMS programs at VSE in Prague (24 months), with an exchange to Cornell Johnson.
And I have been accepted to CEMS at UCD Dublin (16 months), however, I do not know what my exchange school will be until June.
I'm not sure I can just pay the deposit for both and wait what exchange I get for Dublin, as the exchange systems stuff has to go thru the same CEMS system.

Some positives and negatives:
UCD Pos:
- Great ranking this past year ( nr. 3 in the FT MIM)
- Good reputation in Ireland (lots of tech companies I am interested in)

UCD Neg:
- 16k study fees
- Expensive city
- Exchange partner not known

VSE pos:
- Reputable school in the region (14th in the FT MIM)
- Awesome exchange partner for program
- Cheap city and student life & only 4k study fees per year (8k in total 2y)

VSE neg:
- May not be as known in Western Europe
- 2 year program -> more costs to living etc.

What do you guys think? I don't think there will be a wrong or right choice here, so I should be happy for this opportunity of choice!

Hello Hazerd,

Congratulations on the admits.

UCD definitely has better brand value and Ireland as geography would be preferable.

All the best!
