Hey,
I'm a rising senior interning at IBM GBS this summer. I realize everything is ridic competitive so I was wondering if getting any certifications such as the CAPM or PMP would help my job prospects. Any advice on useful certifications or really anything else that would be a competitive advantage for consulting jobs would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,
I work for IBM as well, different division though. Anyway, IBM has an internal project mgmt certification, not sure if you have already know about that. I think it has more value than PMP, these days there are a lot of PMPs around without work.
My suggestion for you would be to try and get that IBM project mgmt cert, ask your manager and see what happens.
