jjfrantik It's no problem that you don't have any direct reports but you do want to articulate leadership in your application, which can usually be demonstrated by problems that you've solved, initiative that you took to make things better for others at work. With regards to the recommendations, focus on what kind of anecdotes they could share. where have you gotten the best results, who can best share your stories around leadership teamwork and problem solving? And then reverse engineer. If you have any significant ECs consider that as a source as well. Each school has different policies about transcripts so that's not something I can speak on but with regards to the optional essay, I tend to think of it as a great opportunity to help them get to know you better as a person. If you execute it well, it can be a great way to differentiate you, to help them see you as a whole person.

Hello, in the process of applying to Booth and Kellogg for fall PT.

Personal: Male/30/Caucasian

GMAT: First score 630 retook and got a 700 (Q48 V 38), Undergraduate GPA 3.25, Work experience 98 months. Promoted to a Senior Procurement Manager for a rapidly grown beverage company. Currently no direct reports, wondering what my chances might be?

Also general questions for applications.

My boss will be a great letter of rec but for my other letter should I do a manager on another function who I worked closely with during some of my best accomplishments? Or prioritize former managers?

For transcripts do I need to go get summer school transcripts that I took at community college? or is the fact the credits are on my official transcript enough?
-On this as well, I had a poor semester due to health issues, is this worth writing the essay about? I feel like it could come off as making excuses.
