Hi
adosssThanks for sharing your profile — here’s a quick and honest take.
Academics: Bocconi is a very strong brand, but a GPA of ~25/30 is on the lower side for top MiM/MSc Finance programs. It’s not disqualifying, but it does need support elsewhere.
GMAT: A 665 is a good score and already helps offset part of the GPA weakness, especially coming from Bocconi. It shows academic readiness beyond your transcript.
Experience: Internships in corporate finance and upcoming leveraged finance at Crédit Agricole are very relevant and strengthen your profile meaningfully.
International Exposure: ONU diplomatic simulation in New York + IELTS 8 are clear positives.
Recommendations: Strong references will help reinforce your academic and professional potential.
Retake or not?
With 665, you can apply, especially to European programs that weigh professional exposure and school brand heavily.
If you are targeting the most competitive programs (HEC, LBS, top Bocconi MSc tracks), a retake to 690+ would noticeably improve how well your GMAT compensates for the GPA.
If your target list includes a broader mix of schools, retaking is optional, not mandatory.
Bottom line:
Your GMAT already helps, but a higher score would strengthen the GPA offset further. You can think of it like this - With 665 you are competitive but with 690 you can be almost certain of getting in (provided essays, interviews, etc. go well)
